Debate Topics for the 2016 Global Event Summit Announced

ISES GLOBAL EVENT SUMMIT 2016Monday, February 15th 2015, CHICAGO, IL / EDINBURGH UK:  The list of debate topics for the first ever ISES Global Event Summit, which takes place in April 2016, have been published. 

Four separate debate sessions will take place during the three day summit being held in Scotland, and the topics will include;

The Uber Economy

Economics and labour challenges in a freelance world 

The Science of Events

Human experiences, human behaviour and the psychology of events 

The Cultural Revolution

Harnessing the power of a global society both locally and internationally 

The Risk Factor

Delivering confidence in a security conscious environment

Jodi Collen CSEP, President of the International Special Events Society, said:“These topics reflect some of the key issues facing our industry today and we are bringing together some of the best minds from the events industry to debate them and share the outcomes with our colleagues from around the world.” 

Beginning with a VIP hosted buyer trip to IMEX Frankfurt, the moderated debates will also include exclusive sessions delivered by several of Scotland’s leading live event professionals.

Delegates due to attend the summit include senior corporate and agency event heads from organizations including NASDAQ, Edwards Life Sciences, TBA Global, Shaw Communications, SH Worldwide, Aerospace Industries Association, Giants Enterprises and George P Johnson.

The Global Event Summit is a partnership between The International Special Events Society, VisitScotland Business Events and the IMEX Group and is supported by Cvent and Events are GREAT Britain.
