The Leading Hotels of the World announced the addition of six new members in Austria, Greece, Spain, and the United States to its collection of uncommon luxury hotels. The newest members join the more than 375 other diverse properties in 75 countries that embody their destinations through design, culture and cuisine.

Among the newest members are hotels anchored in ancient city fortresses, and properties with strong art-inspired influences, award- winning chefs, and signature spa facilities, reflecting the collection’s commitment to character and individuality.

“Each of these distinctive hotels celebrates its destination, bringing an aspect of its local culture to life, and further enhancing the depth and range of our portfolio,” said Deniz Omurgonulsen, Vice President, Membership, The Leading Hotels of the World.

Palais Coburg Residenz, Vienna, Austria
With roots reaching deep into Vienna’s history, the Palais Coburg Residenz exemplifies the 21st-century energy of the city. Set just behind the Parkring, it offers views over the park, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the old city. Behind the recently restored neoclassical façade, it combines skillfully incorporated medieval features with contemporary design elements, to create 34 individually appointed suites. The unexpected hidden treasure of the hotel is its secluded garden, a green oasis of towering trees, fragrant flowers and bubbling fountains, offering a serene escape within the city. In addition to a spa area with indoor pool and steam bath, there are six wine cellars, set in the former ancient fortifications of the city. Rates start at EUR 695 per night, single or double, (approx. USD 757) and include breakfast, Wi-Fi access, spa access, daily newspaper, mini-bar, service charges and taxes.

Chromata Up Style Hotel joins Santorini sister property Katikies in the LHW portfolio. Set on the pinnacle of the southeasterly rim of the Caldera, in the quiet village of Imerovigli, it boasts spectacular views of the dormant volcano. Open seasonally from April through October, the hotel offers 25 rooms done in local Cycladic style, with architecture evoking a cave-like atmosphere, complemented by luxuriously minimalist furniture and fixtures. Rates start at EUR 249 per night, (approx. USD 271) single or double, and include buffet breakfast, welcome drink, wine and fruits in the room on arrival, Wi-Fi, mobile phone and all taxes.

Bill & Coo Suites and Lounge, Mykonos, Greece
A romantic oasis where minimalist design meets sheer relaxation, Bill & Coo Suites and Lounge on Mykonos is a peaceful haven of luxury. Playing on a lovers’ expression which means to be affectionate and whisper endearments, the hotel is an island sanctuary for couples. The 30 suites, with white-washed walls accented with cushions and bedding in vivid lilac, lime, aqua and rose, open up to private verandas, perfect for watching glowing sunsets over the Aegean Sea. Located in the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts, Canyon Ranch in Lenox is an experiential destination for guests who desire a health transformation with a preventive mindset. Created in what was a classic late 19th- century mansion, it combines the low-key pace of New England with the energizing ethic of a classic spa. Accommodations are in 126 light and airy rooms and suites. At the heart of the resort is the 100,000-square-foot spa complex with saunas, pools, gyms, and exercise studios, as well as indoor tennis, racquetball, squash and basketball courts. All-inclusive rates start at USD 1,090 per night, single; and USD 1,820 per night double.
