London City Selection (LCS) this weekend (4th-5th March) hosted its annual agents’ fam trip, The Curious Incident of London City Selection, a Sherlock Holmes inspired weekend. The event, which was photographed by professional photographer Matt Chung, saw over 30 agents including Vista, Inntel and Venue Search London take part in a series of challenges at member venues across the City of London.
Challenges throughout the weekend were organised by LCS’s official partners, Right Angle Events, and saw agents dusting items for criminal prints along with a number of other forensic activities in keeping with the theme.
The weekend began with an evening reception at One Moorgate Place where agents were welcomed, assigned team leaders and given clues from LCS member venues before being transported by LCS’s own Route Master bus for the first of a two night stay at member hotels. This was followed by breakfast at Sadler’s Wells and a series of challenges around the City to solve the Curious Incident of London City Selection. A lunch stop was provided at the Barbican and the day concluded with a drinks reception and gala dinner at The HAC, where winning teams were announced. Prizes included lunch for six at Herbert Berger at Innholder’s Hall, a limited edition Stephen Wiltshire mounted print, two tickets to the Mousetrap and a three-course lunch for four guests at The HAC.
Oliver Hargreaves, Chair of London City Selection, said: “Every year the fam weekend is really fun and has become a key event in the calendar for many agencies. This year we’ve had a record turnout and the creative theme developed by our team building partners Right Angle Events has once again sparked the imagination of agents involved. It’s great to see new faces from familiar companies joining in as The City of London is changing rapidly and is becoming a destination in its own right. The fam weekend is a great way to get to know the area and our member venues as an ideal location for events while enjoying a memorable experience.”
