Sheremetyevo is for the fourth time confirms the status of the best airport in Europe. Sheremetyevo is the first Russian airport which was awarded in the rating ACI ASQ in 2012, then repeated this success in 2013 and 2014 and again in 2015.

The research took place in more than 300 airports of the world in 80 countries. The results of the award objectively reflected the views of more than 550 000 polled passengers by 34 key service parameters, the basic of which are access to airport, check-in, security, politeness of the staff, navigation and atmosphere at the airport, food and beverage, retail and more. Thus, according to the passengers’ rating the best airports were determined.

Sheremetyevo General Director Mikhail Vasilenko said: “For the last four years Sheremetyevo consistently demonstrates the superiority among European airports. This is very important because Sheremetyevo is the largest international air gate of the country, and therefore it’s one of the key factors for investment attractiveness and competitiveness of Russia. We are aimed to modernize the airport infrastructure for The 2018 FIFA World Cup to make the airport even more comfortable and attractive. I want to thank the passengers for the high appreciation of our work as well as partners and airlines for our joint success and victory”.
