Kent Event Centre today announces that it has won the contract to host the Christian Resources Exhibition (CRE) 2016.

The event will take place in Kent Event Centre’s Maidstone Exhibition Hall between 12th and 13th October 2016 and is expected to attract over 3,000 visitors and over 200 exhibitors.

Open to everyone, visitors will discover organisations featuring everything from furniture to films, pulpits to puppets, ways to worship and what to wear. In addition the event provides inspiration, teaching and encouragement through a programme of seminars and arts performances.

Most mainstream denominations are represented at CRE which has grown to become one of the most significant ecumenical events in the UK.

Event Director Bill Allen says of choosing the venue for the two-day event: “The Christian Resources Exhibition has been hosting exhibitions around the country for the last 32 years and we were very excited when Kent Event Centre opened the Maidstone Exhibition Hall.

“Kent Event Centre features all the key aspects that we look for in an exhibition venue which includes ample parking, large rooms without pillars that can affect the design of the exhibition, good catering facilities and in an area of the country that has a good customer potential. We are looking forward to working with the centre’s team and have been very pleased with their support to date.”

Kent Event Centre’s Event Co-ordinator, Ellie Nicholl, adds: “Since meeting the team at Confex in 2015 and winning this contract through the relationship built at the exhibition, we are really looking forward to working with them on the event, which is very well respected in the Christian calendar.”
