Up to 75,000 people are expected to flock to the Brisbane Showgrounds over the next six days, for the popular Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow.
The event, which opens today, has been setting up camp at the showgrounds for 38 consecutive years.
Lovers of the great outdoors will be in paradise, with more than 250 exhibitors showcasing the latest in caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, slide-ons and camping accessories.
Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said he was proud the iconic event had been coming to the showgrounds for almost four decades.
“Our long running association with the Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow is a true testament to our venue and staff.”
“It’s the second largest annual event to be held at our historic showgrounds precinct, behind the Royal Queensland Show,” he said.
The Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow runs until Monday 13 June.
The 22 hectare Brisbane Showgrounds precinct is located just 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD and is Queensland’s largest indoor / outdoor events site.
