Hosted Buyers rank Europe, North America and Australasia as the top international regions of interest

Research from Hosted Buyers revealed Europe, North America and Australasia to be the most popular international regions, with 68% of Hosted Buyers interested in placing business within Europe.

The UK was a close second; spending by Chinese MICE tourists is expected to increase by 9% by 2020 and England is one of the most popular destinations among Hosted Buyers, with 87% looking to place business. Germany followed, with 71% of Hosted Buyers indicating an interest.

Canada and the USA were also top destinations for Hosted Buyers, with 85% of Hosted Buyers looking to place business in the US and 79% in Canada. North America currently holds the number one position globally for Chinese outbound MICE tourists spending.

And within Australasia, Australia was the top destination of interest, with 91% of buyers interested in placing business. New Zealand followed with 74% of Hosted Buyers indicating an interest.

Additional international destinations that Hosted Buyers have indicated a strong interest in include Brazil with 90% of Hosted Buyers looking to place business, Argentina with 80%, and the UAE with 70%.
