Voting has opened ahead of the hotly anticipated 2016 World Ski Awards Gala Ceremony as the nominees for the event are revealed for the first time.

The competitors were announced earlier as the all-important 16 week voting window opens.

Members of the ski community, both tourism professionals and ski consumers, are invited to view the 2016 World Ski Awards finalists here.

The winners are to set to be revealed at the 2016 World Ski Awards Gala Ceremony, scheduled to take place in Kitzbühel, Austria, over the weekend of November 18th-20th.

A-ROSA Kitzbühel will welcome industry leaders from across the globe for a three day programme of unrivalled networking events, dinners, and exclusive ski experience activities.

The highlight of the event will of course be the red carpet Gala Ceremony itself on the evening of November 19th when the World Ski Awards winners will be unveiled.

World Ski Awards Managing Director Sion Rapson said: “World Ski Awards is the only global initiative to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in the global ski tourism industry, and as such our 2016 finalists represent the very best the sector has to offer.
