ICS and JLC Merge to Expand Global Presence

International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS) is pleased to announce a new milestone in the delivery of international conference management through the merger of ICS Europe with the London-based Judy Lane Consulting (JLC).

For more than 25 years, JLC has built its reputation serving clients primarily within the legal professional conference market. As a full conference management company, JLC has delivered events in 30 countries with up to 6,000 participants. The company will operate under the Judy Lane Consulting ICS Ltd. name and will seamlessly integrate into the ICS family.
ICS and JLC share key business values ensuring a smooth transition. Both have strong reputations for delivering “boutique-style” service highlighted by personalization, flexibility and direct access to leadership for their clients. Additionally, both companies believe exceptional employees are the foundation of their success. Aside from experienced conference managers, the companies also have team members with senior-level association management experience.

The merger is expected to strengthen ICS’s foothold in the European market. JLC’s offices in London and Barcelona complement ICS’s office in Vienna and are key strategic locations for professional conference organizers.
Vienna, London and Barcelona ranked as the top three cities globally for total number of meeting participants in 2015 according to data produced by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).

In addition to strategic positioning, ICS will gain access to JLC’s expertise in the legal professional conference market. JLC has worked with the International Bar Association, International Law Association, American Corporate Counsel and American Corporate Counsel Europe among other noteworthy law associations. The current JLC team is headed up by a former lawyer and includes respected industry professionals.
