aime_25th_logoOrganisers of the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME), taking place from 21-22 February 2017, have commenced a global search to bring more event planners to Melbourne, to meet with hundreds of exhibitors and network with thousands of people at the largest gathering of business event professionals in the Asia-Pacific region.

For the 25th anniversary, enhancements have been made to the Hosted Buyer program, simplifying the process from application through to the onsite experience. The Appointment System features upgraded matchmaking software optimising relevant appointments that are scheduled with exhibitors, based upon pre-established buyer preferences and availability.

AIME is partnering with BI WORLDWIDE for the first time; an event management company to deliver a seamless process for Hosted Buyers, from initial travel consultation and flight bookings, through to onsite transport and logistics.

Qualified Hosted Buyers will experience industry-leading education programs, peer-to-peer networking sessions, the opportunity to book appointments with event suppliers from across the globe and unique Melbourne City experiences, supported by complimentary travel and luxury accommodation.

Ian Wainwright, Event Director – AIME, Reed Travel Exhibitions is excited to launch the strongest ever Hosted Buyer offering for AIME 2017.

“Our objective for AIME 2017 is to increase the number of quality hosted buyers in attendance. To achieve this we have implemented numerous enhancements to our communication tools, application process, qualification strategy and onsite program; making the Hosted Buyer offering for 2017 the strongest it’s ever been.

“With AIME reflective of the global events industry, we are looking to attract more international event organisers and have teams on the ground in London, New York, Mexico City, Abu Dhabi, Sydney and Beijing, who are actively seeking event organisers to be part of the AIME Hosted Buyer program.

“For those who organise meetings, incentives or events, AIME is the place where you can do a years’ worth of business in two days, meeting with hundreds of suppliers, being introduced to new ideas and new technologies, all under one roof. I encourage all those who organise events to apply to be part of this valuable program,” said Mr Wainwright.
