Rimini, 15th September 2016 – Over 40 international airlines have chosen TTG Incontri to present their development strategies. From 13th to 15th October 2016 at Rimini Fiera the market’s key players will animate with their proposals one of the fast-growing sectors in the B2B expo, the most important in Italy and one of the top in Europe for the tourist trade.

TTG Incontri is big international players’ doorway to the Italian tourist market; the expo ensures direct contact with travel agencies, who in turn have the final contacts with consumers. TTG Incontri is the real business opportunity in the increasingly short trade chain, therefore there are numerous qualified participants.

As well as the airlines already taking part, such as Alitalia, this year there are prestigious debuts: the Greece’s Aegean Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas, China’s Air China and Cathay Pacific Limited, Germany’s Eurowings and Hahn Air Lines, Distal, with 14 companies represented, and Air France.

The IATA (International Air Transport Association) will also take part in TTG.

David Rutman, head of distribution in Europe and CSI countries will be at the expo on the first day, at a conference dedicated to flight ticket procedure.

All the tourism transport system will be a key player at the next edition of TTG Incontri.

Aeroporti di Roma, on its debut at the expo, will be a key player at the round table entitled ITALY-CHINA: the opportunities for tourist development and cooperation between companies and markets, scheduled in the TTG Forum Area on Friday 14th October at 10:30 am. China is a strategic nation, with a constantly growing internal demand for European destinations, with estimated traffic of between 80 and 150 million tourists within the next 15 years. On behalf of ADR, the speaker will be Fausto Palombelli, marketing and aviation development Director.

Rimini and San Marino “Federico Fellini” International Airport will be TTG Incontri’s Airport Partner, and will propose international buyer its future strategies, in particular new routes connecting it with Israel and Russia, as well as the integration with the Emilia Romagna Region’s plans for intermodality and its new marketing plan.  As far as marketing is concerned, an accent will be put on how the airport’s role  for the Rimini area can assume an undisputed central role and new management company AIRiminum 2014 – an entirely privately financed company – is ready to participate, along with the area’s other tourism operators, in the development of a marketing system based entirely on private funds, to work alongside  the institutional facilities that already exist, able to attract new tourism markets in an effective manner.

Also worthy of note, again in the transport enterprise area, the participation of Trenitalia, which at TTG Incontri, in the context of a specific agreement, will ensure an increase in the number of trains stopping at Rimini Fiera on-site railway station, extending the traditional service to include its Frecce trains.

At Rimini Fiera the appointment for the tourist trade is with three expos being staged simultaneously: As well as the 53rd TTG International Tourism Trade Fair, there will also be the65th SIA GUEST International Hospitality Exhibition and the 34th SUN International Exhibition for the Outdoor world, Bathing Establishments and Campsites.
