Harbour & Jones hosts top chefs at first live Michelin Star event with champagne and canapés

harbourandjonesLeading food services company, Harbour & Jones hosted top chefs and food professionals at a champagne reception for the first ever live Michelin Star unveiling event held at the IET London, Savoy Place on Monday 3rd October.

Harbour & Jones chefs prepared 3,000 canapés for Great Britain & Ireland’s top chefs and other high profile guests and served Veuve Clicquot champagne. The lunchtime champagne reception was held in the Riverside Room and on the Roof Terrace of the IET, where the catering operation is managed by Harbour & Jones. Over 300 guests attended the star-studded event including Heston Blumenthal, Michel Roux and his son Alain Roux, Raymond Blanc and Marcus Waring to name just a few.

Canapés devised by the IET’s Executive Chef Anthony O’Donnell included tequila cured salmon with lime crème fraiche in crisp tortilla, tuna tartare with sesame, wasabi and avocado on nori crisp and confit duck ballotine with Kashmiri mayonnaise and apple on a rice cracker.

Event partners comprised: Bookatable by Michelin, Delifrance, Infiniti, Nespresso, San Pellegrino and Veuve Clicquot.
