Sandeep Dewar, Chief Operating and Financial Officer for the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School of Music and Drama, said; “The promotions within the team are well deserved, with the venue continuing to grow market share, turnover and profitability over the last two years.  But financial success is not our only benchmark of success – Lee Dobson has worked tirelessly with his team to ensure client satisfaction and feedback continue to grow, delivering our best BDRC results to date and ensuring a significant increase in repeat business.  The team has also been instrumental in the significant refurbishment undertaken across the venue this year, particularly the Frobisher Conference Suites, which now provide one of the best equipped meetings and events facilities in the City of London.”

Jackie Boughton comments: “This is an exciting time for the whole of the Barbican Business Events team.  We are already forging ahead with plans for the next year as well as new business opportunities and even more ways to satisfy our customers.  I am honoured to have to support of such a dedicated team, who continually go beyond the call of duty to make the Barbican the success it is.”
