The 25th anniversary of the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) will share insights into the past, present and future of the industry through a series of inspirational educational sessions hosted by a selection of Asia-Pacific’s leading voices in events, travel and technology.

The ever popular, Saxton ‘Up close and Personal’ sessions are filling fast, including a session on day one called ‘Future Now’ which will see a panel of passionate experts examine future technologies and their application and impact within the meetings and events industry. Sitting on the panel will be Chris Riddell, Marita Cheng, Dr Catherine Ball and moderator Brad Howarth.

Ian Wainwright, Event Director – AIME, Reed Travel Exhibitions commented on the value AIME’s educational sessions offer event managers, professional conference organisers and EA’s/PA’s.

“AIME strives to not only provide a platform for people to network, but also extend the opportunity to learn through our educational programs. AIME 2017 will cover the hottest topics in the events industry today, from industry trends, business development and strategy, to safety, security and risk management plus personal branding and staff development.

“AIME has partnered with Saxton Speakers Bureau to once again secure the best speakers from different corners of the Asia-Pacific to inform, discuss and share their insights and experiences of adapting and transforming within a changing industry environment. We are excited to offer such a diverse range of speakers for our 25th anniversary to truly make this year a spectacular event,” said Mr Wainwright.

Chris Riddell, a world-leading Futurist and a renowned trailblazer in the digital market, will present his insights as a global strategist and trend-spotter for businesses and leaders in today’s disrupted world.  His session at AIME will look at what will define the next chapter in the events industry and how the industry will transform and adapt to change.

“In a digital world, customers want results instantly. It is up to businesses to embrace the high speed changing environment of workplace, relationships, news and even the messages that are shared across the digital platforms. In the Saxton ‘Future Now’ session we will look at how to stay ahead of the game, and what the future actually looks like in today’s market,” said Mr Riddell.
