World Ski Awards has revealed that the five star A-ROSA Kitzbühel will host its 2017 Gala Ceremony.
The most prestigious awards programme in the ski tourism industry will return to the resort for the 5th consecutive year, for three action packed days of unrivalled networking events, dinners and exclusive ski experience activities from 17th-19th November 2017 inclusive!
The highlight of the event, however, will be the red carpet World Ski Awards Gala Ceremony 2017 itself on the evening of Saturday 18th November. Ski tourism figureheads and market leaders from North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia will be in attendance as the World Ski Awards winners are unveiled.
“It is an honour to be returning to the A-ROSA Kitzbühel in the Austrian Alps for our 5th annual Gala Ceremony,” said Sion Rapson, Managing Director of World Ski Awards.
“The resort was instrumental in the success of the inaugural World Ski Awards in 2013, while subsequent years have seen the ceremony rise to the next level of achievement.”
Nestled among the Austrian Alps, the A-ROSA Kitzbühel is a stylish Alpine winter ski destination while in summer it transforms into a haven for hikers, bikers and golfers.
Built in the style of a Tyrol castle, the resort boasts 115 rooms and 36 suites all offering spectacular views of the Streif – one of the most famous ski slopes of the Alps. Elsewhere the Spa Rosa features seven sauna rooms, a Hamman steam bath with Rasul, an ice grotto, an extensive and fully-equipped gym, yoga room,16 treatment rooms and an indoor and an outdoor pool, while the resort’s four restaurants and bars are a gourmand’s delight.
Uwe Schramm, General Manager at the A-ROSA Kitzbühel, commented: “We are extremely excited and happy to be hosting the 5th annual World Ski Awards again this year at the A-ROSA Kitzbühel. The World Ski Awards are an absolute highlight to us and myself and the entire team are incredibly proud to be hosting this prestigious event – which provides a fantastic networking opportunity for the international ski hospitality industry – at our resort.”
Mr Schramm continued: “I can’t wait to get to know this year’s nominees and to organise and spend three days of great networking talks and exciting programme together at the A-ROSA Kitzbühel.”
World Ski Awards, the only global initiative to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in the ski hospitality industry, is the sister organisation of World Travel Awards currently celebrating its 24th anniversary.
