Alexandria, Va.  — The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) today announced that Cisco has become a President’s Circle Sponsor. The new sponsorship will bring Cisco’s collaboration technology to ACTE and will allow the organization to transform how it operates, how it trains and how it runs events.

“ACTE is always working to bring our community the latest in innovations so that corporate travel professionals can stay ahead and support their companies. That is why we are excited to welcome Cisco to our President’s Circle as a sponsor,” said ACTE Executive Director Greeley Koch. “Innovation is connecting with our members not only in person, but virtually, as well. Cisco is providing us with the opportunity to reach more members year-round.”

Cisco collaboration technologies such as WebEx Event Center will now play a more strategic role in ACTE’s virtual events to provide members and non-members the tools and capabilities to enhance their education, free from constraints of physical location, time zone and traditional organizational boundaries. ACTE will use Cisco’s collaboration products to power upcoming webinars, including:

These webinars will be presented using WebEx Event Center which will allow ACTE to educate their members on upcoming trends changing the industry to provide attendees with the opportunity to think differently and create new strategies.

“Cisco is honored to be working with ACTE to raise awareness of the latest calling, meeting, and video technology to drive travel innovation and increased productivity for companies,” said Cisco VP, Global Collaboration Sales, Andre Smit.

Corporate travel professionals are facing multiple challenges, including rapid geopolitical changes, economic pressure and human resource challenges. They can no longer stay ahead of this rapidly changing environment through one training a year. Using virtual collaboration tools will ensure ACTE members always have access to the most up-to-date information available.

In addition, ACTE will use Cisco technologies such as Cisco Spark internally to streamline their communication process in-house to lessen the amount of emails sent daily.

Keep an eye out for how Cisco will be bringing the ACTE membership more technology information and advancements at the London Aviation and Corporate Summit 11-13 October and beyond.
