The IMEX Group and EventMB announce new partnership – industry research, case studies and exhibitor storytelling define ‘unprecedented journey’
The IMEX Group has entered into a partnership with Event Manager Blog (EventMB) to deliver a major piece of industry research plus case studies as well as offering digital content services to exhibitors.
Under the new partnership. EventMB, a highly influential website for the worldwide event industry, becomes the exclusive digital content partner for IMEX in Frankfurt (15 – 17 May) and IMEX America (16 – 18 October). As part of this, IMEX and EventMB will work on a major research report focusing on the theme of ‘Legacy’, the IMEX Talking Point for 2018.

The research report, in association with ProColombia, will be launched at IMEX America this October where its findings will feature in the show’s free education programme.

Two in-depth case studies will also be published during 2018. The first of these – in late February – will reveal the behind-the-scenes story of an African event with an exceptional purpose and ‘legacy’ mission at its heart.

ProColombia – keen to tell their own legacy story

Promising insights and practical takeaways

Both the research report and case studies will be crafted to give event planners in particular strong, practical insights and takeaways they can apply to their own organisation or events.

The new partnership also enables IMEX exhibitors to take advantage of discounts on EventMB’s digital content services, which include webinars, custom research reports, video, case studies and white papers. In this way exhibitors can gain access to their powerful online and subscriber community.

Heather Gough, sales director at the IMEX Group, explains: “Our partnership with EventMB helps us to deliver a compelling offer for exhibitors – if you’re a destination, venue or other supplier who wants to create memorable content that reflects your unique strengths and makes best use of online marketing and the latest storytelling techniques, then EventMB can help. Their product range is extremely robust and I’m delighted our exhibitors are being given this great opportunity.

“Equally our research report and case studies will be freely available to the whole industry as part of IMEX’s commitment to share high level research which delivers practical insights and inspiration to planners. This follows the success of our research into Purposeful Meetings which was well received by the industry when we launched it at IMEX America last year.”

Commenting on the new partnership, Julius Solaris, EventMB founder and editor said: “We are very proud to work with IMEX. From inception 10 years ago, EventMB has been committed to push the boundaries of innovation and change in the event industry.

“The choice of ‘Legacy’ as the Talking Point for 2018, opens up the doors of storytelling, creativity and inspiration for an audience eager to design memorable experiences. We will explore what legacy means for events and how our industry can change the life of entire communities. This will be an unprecedented journey into the meaning of event planning, redefining the role of event professionals for good,” says Solaris.

EventMB has fast become a go-to online resource for trends, technology, innovation and education for the events industry, read by thousands of event professionals around the globe daily.
