The 2021 edition officially opens at 12 noon in the South Hall with introductory greetings from Lorenzo Cagnoni, President of Italian Exhibition Group SpA, Jamil Sadegholvaad, Mayor of Rimini, and Andrea Corsini, Councillor for Tourism.
This will be followed by a talk show presented by Simona Ventura with Massimo Garavaglia, Minister for Tourism, Giorgio Palmucci, President of ENIT – Italian Tourist Board, Fabio Lazzerini, Chief Executive Officer of ITA – Italian Air Transport, and Bernabò Bocca, President of Federalberghi.
Over 200 events with more than 250 speakers, distributed among the nine arenas over the three days of the event, inspired by Vision 2021 “Be Confident”. The theme will be based on four pillars: Confidence in life, people, nature and the future, through a new narrative of the travel experience, entrusted for this edition mainly to female voices.
700 buyers from more than 40 foreign countries (62% from Europe and 38% from non-European countries) will take part in business meetings to match supply and demand, while around thirty foreign countries will have their own stands in the halls of The World.
TTG Travel Experience 58th edition
TTG will be attended by the most representative trade associations, all the Regions, ENIT, Federalberghi, the National Research Council and the Italian Touring Club Polytechnic. Also in attendance for TTG Travel Experience (58th edition), Legambiente with the Ecotourism Oscars, Confturismo for tourism industry recovery, SISTUR – Italian Society of Tourism Sciences – in a talk on innovation and sustainability within the sector, ISNART – National Institute for Tourism Research – with a study on female employment in the sector, and FAI – Italian Environmental Fund – with the cities, villages and villas of Italian heritage.
To mark the 70th anniversary of SIA Hospitality Design, the concepts of the four exhibitions will describe hotel innovation and evolution with top names in Made in Italy architecture. In the Design Arena, lecturers from POLI.Design in Milan will be giving speeches on the value of spaces and furnishings.
SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, now at its 39th edition, will also feature a programme full of new ideas for outdoor operators, bathing establishments and campsites, including FAITA – Federcamping. Festivities also for SIB – Italian Bathing Establishments Union, which will be celebrating 60 years of business representation at the Rimini Expo.
TTG Travel Experience, SIA Hospitality Design and SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, will be held at the same time as Superfaces Lite, a brand-new marketplace with innovative materials for interiors, design and architecture.
