Jet2 City Breaks restart services and trips to Iceland

City BreakJet2 City Breaks are once again giving customers the opportunity to visit one of the world’s most stunning natural wonders, after restarting an exciting programme of flights and holidays to Iceland.

 

A busy flight departed from Glasgow Airport(Monday 7th February), marking the restart of flights and trips to Iceland with the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of city breaks to Europe.

Jet2.com and Jet2 City Breaks will operate scheduled services from Manchester and Birmingham Airports between February and April, as well as dedicated trips to the Nordic Island from seven other UK bases (Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, and London Stansted).

With a leading regional programme of departures available from across the country to this bucket list destination, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks offers customers and independent travel agents the best choice when it comes to seeing the Northern Lights and the abundance of natural wonders that Iceland has to offer.

Jet2.com and Jet2 City Breaks will fly twice-weekly (Monday and Thursday) scheduled services to Iceland from Birmingham and Manchester Airports during key times this winter. Scheduled services are available from 10th February through to 25th April from both bases, offering great choice and flexibility with stays of three-nights or more available over the February half-term and Easter.

In addition to this programme of scheduled services, 22 three and four-night dedicated trips will operate between February and April from seven other UK bases (Belfast International, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and London Stansted Airports).

Whether it is the cityscape of Reykjavik, the spectacular Northern Lights, or the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls, Iceland offers an incredible variety of things for customers to experience and see.

Customers can pick from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2 City Breaks available for a low £60 per person booking deposit. Package options with Jet2 City Breaks include flights with Jet2.com, 22kg hold luggage, transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik which provide the perfect base from which to explore and experience authentic Icelandic cuisine. A guided Northern Lights Tour is included in all packages, with excursions to the Golden CircleBlue Lagoon and South Shore also available to purchase.

All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by award-winning Jet2.com, and the full programme Jet2 City Breaks is as follows:

  • Scheduled services operating twice weekly from Manchester and Birmingham Airports between February and April.
  • 22 dedicated trips to Iceland and the Northern Lights, from seven other UK bases from February through to April.
  • Belfast International – one four-night trip in April on 14th April.
  • Birmingham  scheduled services operating every Monday and Thursday from 10th February to 25th April. An exclusive route to Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks from the base.
  • Edinburgh – one three-night trip available on 18th April.
  • East Midlands – three four-night dedicated trips in March on 7th, 10th and 28th.
  • Glasgow – three trips in total, including two three-night trips in February (7th and 28th) and one four-night trip on 31st March.
  • Leeds Bradford – five trips in total, including two four-night trips in February (17th and 21st), one four-night trip on 17th March, one three-night trip on 4th April and one four-night trip on 7th April. An exclusive route to Jet2.com and Jet2 City Breaks from the base.
  • Manchester – scheduled services operating every Monday and Thursday from 10th February to 25th April.
  • Newcastle – six trips in total, including two four-night trips in February (10th and 24th), one three-night trip on 14th February, one three-night on 14th March, one three-night trip on 11th April and a four-night trip on 21st April.   • London Stansted – three trips in total, including two three-night dedicatedtrips in March (3rd and 21st) and one four-night trip on 24th March.
