Jet2Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have once again responded to strong demand for flights and holidays by announcing a significantly expanded programme for Summer 23 from three of their biggest UK bases. The companies are today announcing more flights, more holidays and brand-new destinations for next summer from BirminghamLondon Stansted and Manchester Airports, with an additional aircraft coming into operation at the airline and tour operator’s three biggest bases to support the extension.

On the back of being recognised as Which? Travel Brand of the Year, the leading leisure airline and UK’s leading tour operator to many leisure destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands have added brand-new Sicily and Sardinia from Birmingham Airport and Tivat from Manchester AirportThe introduction of two world famous capitalsAthens and Rome from London Stansted will also see Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks operate city breaks to these destinations from the base.

It means the companies are offering customers and independent travel agents a choice of 57 sun and city leisure destinations from across their network of ten UK bases for Summer 23.

Strong demand for flights and ATOL protected package holidays means Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have also expanded their existing programmes to favourites such as the Canary IslandsMainland SpainTurkeyCroatia and Greece from the base for Summer 23 too – with more frequent flying to these popular destinations giving holidaymakers and independent travel agents even more choice and flexibility. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have seen continued demand from holidaymakers on the back of international travel returning to normal. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have been widely praised and commended for their handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, including swiftly refunding customers who have had their flights or holidays cancelled. Last week, both companies were recognised as Which? Travel Brand of the Year for the way the companies have looked after customers and independent travel agents, both during the pandemic as well as now that international travel has reopened. The Institute of Customer Service recently ranked Jet2holidays as the best UK tour operator and Jet2.com as the best UK airline for providing customer service. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays were also ranked as the Best Travel Firms for providing refunds according to a survey of respondents by Money Saving Expert, and the UK Civil Aviation Authority has recognised Jet2.com as the only UK airline to provide prompt refunds.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “Hot on the heels of being recognised as Which? Travel Brand of the Year, we are announcing more award-winning flights and holidays for customers and independent travel agents to choose from. The addition of more destinations and extra capacity from three bases comes on the back of enormous demand for our award-winning flights and holidays from Birmingham, London Stansted and Manchester Airports and, as always, we are quick to respond. Summer 23 will see an additional aircraft come into our fleet at each of these bases, meaning local holidaymakers and independent travel agents have even more choice and flexibility. The addition of new destinations from Birmingham, London Stansted and Manchester Airports really expands our offering. In addition to flying customers to their favourite holiday destinations from these bases, we continue to have a laser focus on delivering the very best experience so that customers choose us time and time again.”
