Aegean 2025Two new international destinations to and from Athens and seven new direct domestic flights to/from regional bases are the latest additions to AEGEAN’s network for 2025.

As of early new year, AEGEAN will connect Athens with Iraq, with direct flights from Athens Airport to Erbil International Airport commencing on February 23 and operating twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday. Shortly thereafter, on April 14, 2025, the airline will also recommence its direct flights from Athens to Azerbaijan, which will operate every Monday and Friday with Airbus A320neo aircraft.

AEGEAN is also expanding its domestic network by adding four new direct routes from Heraklion to Rhodes, Naxos, Corfu, and Kos. Two new direct flights from Rhodes to Chania and Santorini will also commence early in June 2025. Flights from Heraklion Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” to Rhodes Airport “Diagoras” will operate daily, with the first flight scheduled for March 2025. In June the new direct flights from Heraklion to Kos (with three weekly flights), Naxos, and Corfu (with two weekly flights) will also commence. The flights connecting Rhodes with Chania will be operated with an ATR 42-600 aircraft twice a week, increasing to four times a week during peak season. Flights from Rhodes to Santorini will operate three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. As of June 2025, the airline will also offer direct flights from Thessaloniki airport to the island of Syros, with three weekly flights every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

In parallel, AEGEAN is increasing its operations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with the addition of a new direct connection between Athens and Abu Dhabi. A similar increase is recorded in other traditional markets to the Greek passengers, such as Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon.
