AIBTM and IAEE Announce Strategic PartnershipAssociation to Create Educational Sessions for AIBTM Attendees 

AIBTM, The Americas Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition (www.aibtm.com) announced today a partnership with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) to co-produce education content for AIBTM in Chicago June 11-13.

IAEE will host education sessions in the show’s Learning Theatre at McCormick Place, highlighting its lengthy expertise and best practices for the meetings, exhibitions and events industry (more details on the education sessions to follow).

“We are very excited to partner with AIBTM on this key, strategic initiative,” says David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA IAEE President and CEO. “This collaboration emphasizes IAEE’s priority to help enrich and engage global meeting planners who are looking to extend their reach internationally.”

Additionally, DuBois will be a part of an educational panel that will be taking place during the kick-off Education Day on June 11.

IAEE, which was founded in 1928 to represent the interests of trade show and exhibition managers, represents over 8,500 individuals who conduct and support exhibitions around the world. Over 50% of its members are directly involved in the planning, management and production of exhibitions.

“We are thrilled to be working with IAEE,” says Michael Lyons, Reed Travel Exhibitions, AIBTM Exhibition Director. “To be able to offer our attendees the chance to learn from the leading trade show association is an important part of our mission to deliver on our show theme, ‘Defining the Future of Meetings… Together.’ IAEE’s contributions will be incredibly valuable, and we look forward to the insights their participation will bring to the AIBTM experience.”
