In recent years, both Guatemala and Uruguay governments have focused on tourism development, with increased investment in tourist attractions, centres and hotels. This, coupled with the countries’ relaxed visa rules for Russian tourists, makes participating at MITT 2013 a major step towards their goal of increasing visitor numbers.

Maria Badakh, Head of Sales, ITE Group plc comments: “Despite the economic downturn in Europe, the Russian outbound tourism market remains strong, as 47.8 million tourists travelled in 2012, an increase of 9.5% from 2011.  I’m delighted to welcome more newcomers to the show this year.”
